Highway 30A Beach Beauties

The beautiful homes found on 30A inspired me put this blog post together.  Being from the south and having lived in the panhandle area for three plus years this highway of upscale communities is packed with sites and activities for your family to enjoy.   If you are not familiar with the area and are visiting Eglin AFB or Tyndal AFB, this is definitely a must for a road trip.  The shops and restaurants are extraordinary and the water is a beautiful crystal blue.  You will not be disappointed, Alys Beach first stop, beware of  eye candy overload.

Alys Beach is a new urban community that has joined Bermudan architecture with the gracious private courtyard living. The homes posted below are mostly rentals, click the picture for details.  There are a few available for purchase in the 1-8 million plus price range,  a girl can always dream! via  www.tutudivine.com via www.alysbeach.com via  www.alysbeach.com/amenities/caliza-pool via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/25-moongate-court via www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/223-north-somerset-street via www.pinterest.com via www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/251-north-somerset-street via www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/30-north-charles via www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/75-governors-court via www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/251-north-somerset-street via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/38-whitby via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/30-north-charles via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/49-governors-court via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/30-north-charles via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/100-north-charles via  www.vrbo.com/482496 via  www.alysbeach.com/rental-properties/84-nonesuch-way via www.alysbeach.com via  www.alysbeach.com/alys-beach-availabe-homes/c6-140-charles-street via  www.alysbeach.com/alys-beach-availabe-homes/f3-22-whitby-court via  www.alysbeach.com/alys-beach-availabe-homes/a1-16-seven-wells-court via  www.alysbeach.com/alys-beach-availabe-homes/f3-22-whitby-court via  www.alysbeach.com/alys-beach-availabe-homes/c6-140-charles-street Hope you have enjoyed taking a look at Alys Beach, if you are ever in the area stop by and take a stroll.  Next stop, the lovely Seaside community.  Thank-you for reading my blog, please share and pass along with your friends.  Have a great week! Hi all, I’ve been away for a few weeks with family in Alabama.  Looks like we will be on the road for a while, final destination Okinawa, Japan in late October.  Looking forward to posting our travels.

Hope you are having a wonderful summer with family and friends.

Today’s post is about cute DIY ideas for your daughter’s room that will make a big statement.  The pictures below are one day projects you can do with your daughter without breaking the bank.  Hope they inspire you to get crafty with your daughter.   All the pictures below have clickable links, most with step-by-step instructions.  via www.hankandhunt.com  This idea would be cute in front of your daughters windows, above her headboard, or outlining her bed.  You could use your daughters favorite colors and change-up the sizes and shapes.via www.alltheluckintheworld.nl/blog/  Create this work of art with your daughter using her favorite mementoes  to hang over her bed. via www.pinterest.com   What a cute idea for a night-light, use your child’s name to personalize her space. via www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?productId=4322062   The lights pictured above can be found at Lowe’s in various lengths. via www.mycakies.com/2014/02/a-heart-light/  This is the same concept as above with twinkle lights and simple wire formed to the desired shape. via www.pinterest.com/pin/76420524899658229/   These are made of tissue paper and would look great in a group of five or six hanging in a group at various heights. via www.honestlywtf.com

Patriotic Decor

You have all seen it, you may even be guilty of it, going overboard with color or themed decor.  With this being the week of the fourth I thought I would try to find a few beautifully decorated rooms in red, white, and blue.   This patriotic color scheme is classic and if done right, will stand the test of time.  Check out these gorgeous rooms.
