Color Me Red

Happy Valentines to you all, I hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones.  Today’s blog post is about two bold beautiful colors that go hand in hand with this holiday of love, red and pink.  Here are a few of my favorite finds that I thought I would share with you for Valentines.

red 1This rich red and gold combination and the framed silk pajamas look beautiful together.

red 2 If you are in the market for an exterior update, how about this red front door, warm and welcoming. (source House Beautiful) This particular red is by Benjamin Moore, Heritage Red.

red 3This is a unique Asian inspired vanity, check out the hardware and basins, very nice.  The red is what draws you in and crabs your attention.

red 4This room is simply decorated with the focal point being the gallery wall and the red upholstered headboard.  The red livens the room and can easily be slipcovered or reupholstered with season. This is a very affordable option for anyone looking to update a bedroom.

The red trim is a bold statement, not sure I’d be brave enough to try this, but I think it looks amazing. (via www.homeadore.com)

pink 1This is a lovely bathroom with the neutral gray and white wallpaper, add a few pink accents and it livens up the space.
